Constructed using pink sandstone, it features intricately carved pillars, painted walls, and elaborate frescoes depicting Hindu deities and mythological tales. The temple complex houses several sacred kunds (water tanks), pavilions, and smaller shrines dedicated to various Hindu gods and goddesses, including Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, and Hanuman.

One of the most remarkable features of the Galtaji Temple is its seven holy water tanks (kunds). The Galta Kund, considered the holiest, is believed to never run dry and is fed by a natural spring. Devotees come here to take a dip, believing it will purify them and wash away their sins.

Attracting the nickname "Monkey Temple," the site is home to a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The large population of monkeys, primarily rhesus macaques, freely roam the area, adding an element of adventure and excitement for visitors.

Located about 10 kilometers from the heart of Jaipur, Galtaji Temple is easily accessible by road. Visitors can take a taxi, auto-rickshaw, or even enjoy a scenic trek through the Aravalli Hills to reach the temple.
